The Conference will take place in the Aviva & Sammy Ofer Observation Gallery, 30th floor, Eshkol Tower.

Transportation from the airport to Haifa: The Ben-Gurion International Airport is located about 105 km from Haifa. Transportation from the Airport to Haifa: by regular taxi (cost: about 200-250 NIS, or 45-55 $), or by train (cost: 35 NIS, or 9 $). The destination port is Haifa Hof Ha-Carmel.

Haifa: In Haifa, the participants will stay at the Dan Hotel in the vicinity of the university on Mt. Carmel. The details will be published soon.

Meals: The details will be published soon.
Climate: The symposium will take place during spring when daytime temperatures range from 14 to 24C in Haifa (10-12C during night). May is characterized by sunny weather, though occasional rain is possible.

Passports And Visas: Passports must be valid for the period of the conference. Participants requiring an entry visa to Israel should apply to their local Israeli diplomatic or consular mission well in advance.

Insurance: Participants are advised to take out personal health insurance as well as insurance to cover valuable personal effects, as the organizers take no responsibility for them.

Currency: The New Israeli Sheqel (NIS) is the official Israeli currency, equivalent to approximately US$4.34 and 5.69 Euro. Most major currencies are exchangeable and travelers’ checks and major credit cards are accepted.
